Years ago I was invited to meet someone for a business lunch. I was more curious than excited yet I knew there might be attractive, mutual benefit.

What happened next threw me for a loop, for years. More on this in a moment.

I can say this now, perceptions can deceive and mislead us. I had to experience more life experiences and continuously learn before I finally solved what transpired that day, which was far different than I had long, falsely assumed.

This may sound random and unimportant but I think it may help you tremendously moving forward if you’re like me and wonder, “where did it go wrong and what did I do that resulted in someone being so reactive?”
