We are going to get ourselves into trouble in life when we’re reckless with our tongues or through the written word. Our intent may not be as it gets judged yet it doesn’t matter, the punishment is still going to be a severe and painful one.
There are certain words, phrases and beliefs you just can’t be saying or otherwise communicating in society. What is viewed as poor form in the minds of any group in society is going to be judged as shockingly poor character and an unconscionable act of inhumanity.
You can disagree, your supporters can disagree but it doesn’t matter. Play by the cultural rules of society or place yourself in the crosshairs of people who will be your critics, attackers and maybe even those who like you but will feel compelled of their own volition or by society’s expectations to do what they feel they must, which causes you hardship and suffering.
You can assertively stand up for yourself. Choose not to be aggressive if you can. When you do speak up, remember to conduct yourself with sincerity of understanding and also summons up incredible amounts of humility. If you fail any of these requirements, you’re most likely going to have the heat further turned up on you.
Learn and fully understand what is required of you to “make right.” Endure what is inflicted on you and keep working towards showing your critics and enemies that you are not as you are experienced, perceived and judged. Don’t check out and hope the storm blows over.
Do what is expected and slowly work your way back to some level of lessened hostility and new opportunities. It can and does happen.
